Need Help for Yourself or Someone You Know?

If you are located outside southern New Jersey and need help, please seek help in your own community. Your local government welfare office or a nearby church can either help you directly or refer you to an appropriate agency. You may also be able to find a Rescue Mission near you.

Do you need a place to stay?

If you are homeless in the southern New Jersey area and need a safe place to stay, please call the Atlantic City Rescue Mission at (609)345-5517 and ask to speak with a counselor or chaplain. The Mission is open, and someone is here to help you, 24/7.

Do you need meals?

If you are located in the Atlantic City area, you may come to the Mission for breakfast and dinner at no charge. Breakfast is available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM. Dinner is open from 4:15 PM to 6:00 PM. Get directions.

If you live in Atlantic County, New Jersey in your own housing and need food, please call our kitchen at (609)345-5517 and ask for an emergency food basket. You will have to come to the Mission to pick up your food basket. We are unable to make deliveries. Get driving directions or look up public transportation via NJ Transit. The Mission is across the street from the Atlantic City train station and only a few blocks from the Atlantic City bus terminal. Get directions to the Mission from the bus terminal or train station.

If you live in Atlantic County, you may qualify for help through the CEAS (Comprehensive Emergency Assistance System) Program. Contact Atlantic County Health and Human Services (below) for information.
