Atlantic City, New Jersey is known for its casinos, entertainment, beach and famed Boardwalk. But beneath the Boardwalk is something most tourists, or even local residents, don't realize. Caves carved out in the sand are the dwelling places of homeless men, women, and sometimes even families.

What do the homeless need? They need food, safe shelter, and clothing. The Atlantic City Rescue Mission provides all that and MORE. Because we believe that people should be fed, sheltered, and clothed, but they should also be given the chance to change their lives and become employed members of the community living in their own housing.
