The best way to end homelessness is to prevent it from happening. People experiencing crisis because of illness, injury, or layoffs receive homeless prevention help at the Mission.
Emergency Food Baskets
The Mission gives out emergency food baskets on weekdays to people living in the community who are facing financial difficulty. Our hope is that the money they save from not buying groceries can be used toward their rent, mortgage, or utility bills and keep them in their own housing.
Help Paying the Bills
When an individual or family falls behind on their bills, their County CEAS Program may be able to help them pay an overdue bill.
Help is available if you're facing homelessness or know someone who is falling behind.
Check out the Homeless Prevention Checklist that you can use as a tool to help any friend or family member who may be in need of assistance.
