Mission Update: Hope springs eternal.

I want to thank each and everyone who supported us during Easter. It’s such a blessing to have so many friends in the community who are as passionate about serving and making a difference in another person’s life as we are.

Yet for all the good we are doing at the Mission, many new faces still appear at our door each day. They have the same look of tired desperation and a deep yearning for some small measure of hope in an otherwise dark and cloudy life.  Listening to their troubled stories I am reminded of this bible verse.

"Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." Genesis 9:16

God never made promises he didn’t intend to keep! You are part of that covenant of hope for individuals and families seeking that hope today. Poverty and homelessness can strike anyone. But with your support many are discovering those rainbows in their own lives are beginning right here at the Mission.

May God’s blessing be with you today!
