Farm Project 2010

We are blessed to have a tract of land in Cape May County that we can farm and use the crops to help feed the homeless and hungry. View of list of items you can donate to the farm project.

How To Volunteer

Individuals and groups (even children with parents!) can volunteer on the farm. Please email the Volunteer Coordinator, Kathy Schmookler or call 609-345-5517 ext 165 if you'd like to help and you will receive information about location and dates/times.

Volunteer Schedule

*Volunteering on the farm is dictated by weather conditions. Therefore all dates are tentative, and you should sign up in advance with the Volunteer Coordinator so she can contact you if there is a cancellation or postponement.

There will be no farm volunteering on Monday, July 5th. Enjoy the holiday!

We need volunteers to help weed, harvest, and water. Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am - 1pm (weather permitting).

Please RSVP to the Volunteer Coordinator as dates change due to weather! 

Donate Needed Items

• Gardening gloves (men's, women's and children's sizes)
• Insect repellant (spray or wipes)
  
• Sunscreen
  
• Bottles of water
  
• Shovels, hoes, spades (long handled)
  
• Wheelbarrow
  
• Burlap bags
  
• Fertilizer (bags of 10-5-10 or 20-5-5)
• Tomato stakes/wooden tomato cages
• Picnic tables and large shade umbrella
  
• Farm tractor
• Irrigation system
