Individual Volunteers
Individual volunteers must be age 18 or older. Youth age 14-18 may volunteer with an adult chaperone.
The Process for Individual Volunteers
- Sign up to join our online community. This will give you access to our Job Board, which will help you understand some of the volunteer opportunities available. You might also want to check out creative ways to volunteer.
- Submit the online volunteer application form.
- Attend a mandatory Volunteer Orientation class. A mandatory two-hour orientation class is held once a month and includes a tour. Find the next available class.
- An interview with the Volunteer Program Manager will be scheduled after you have completed the Orientation Class.
- Job Assignment - The Volunteer Program Manager will work with you to determine the best volunteer placement according to your interests, your availability, and our current volunteer openings. You will receive a job description and an appointment to meet your prospective supervisor. Both parties will need to sign an agreement of job assignment acceptance.
- Schedule - According to your job assignment, we will place you in the volunteer calendar of the department to which you are assigned.
- You can begin volunteering! Welcome!
